Well congratulations! If you’re reading this then I suppose we survived The Great Experiment about to start at CERN – it is after all 30/03/2010 (2+1=3) 😉 But being an optimist I still exercised this morning…..
Emotions – yes my previous comment is rather generic, as I feel that that the emotions mentioned by Jason and Dr. deMaeyer have an underlying fear as their base – fear of losing someone or something, fear of not being good enough, fear of being weak and vulnerable, etc. We react to this fear in different ways and we can either allow it to control our actions, and become someone who lashes out in word and/or deed in order to “protect” ourselves, or we can harness it and use it more creatively e.g. by working towards buying our own luxury car, as mentioned. (Though personally I think a CoRe is a much wiser investment!)
I also think that our concept of love needs a major overhaul, and some new descriptive words. The Greek word “Agape” is used to describe selfless love, but I prefer to think of it as “fearless love”. It is certainly not love as portrayed by Hollywood, and does not include an underlying fear – fear of being alone, fear of extinction, etc. I suppose I could take this further and state with absolute conviction: God does not fear me.
To me the word “opposite” inherently implies a spectrum. It’s like a see-saw with love and fear at opposite ends. When we are at one end, then it is not possible to experience the other. We need to move closer to the middle, and it is only when we are over the fulcrum that we are able to achieve equilibrium (DLE). We need both emotions to physically survive on this planet, but our bodies can have a somewhat limited reaction to these emotions – elevated heart rate and rate of respiration, a physical sensation in our solar plexus, blood rushing through us – but it is our thoughts that determine whether we walk up to someone and slap them or hug them!
The song by Katie Melua called “Spider’s Web” includes the lyrics:
“The piano keys are black and white, but they sound like a million colours in your mind.”
This beautiful imagery can also be applied to our emotional life. We may not have many basic emotions, but it is the subtle mixtures that create our varied experiences. And by moving out of the emotion/s we are normally “stuck in” we are able to extend the spectrum of our experiences i.e. create more DLE.

This will be a major part of the AIM training next week that you also join from South Africa…. and I can still remember you saying 2 month ago when we met you again in Johannesburg …. “sorry I wont be able to make it to come to the seminar in Brazil”…. and now you are coming…. anyway.
This is the real contradiction that makes the difference … philosophical differences and taking concepts apart is such a mind-pre occupation that only put most to sleep… to put people in a box might make them feel secure or insulted….. that does not matter… it limits their ability to move informationally and that echoes back to the person who makes these judgements and his own informational straight jacket
At the training I will explain how to use informational concepts as temporary tools that can serve as a catalyst, key, lever or fulcrum as you say to make change in an benefitial direction possible and not to limit and straight jacket as usual.
Yes we have survived the Start of the Cern colider as there is this fantastic good NEWS : “7 TeV, which is 3.5 times the energy reached so far at the Tevatron accelerator at Fermilab, USA. This will do no less than recreate the conditions of the early universe.”
so 3.5 times more and this cost only a few billion dollars and soon possibly we will know if the Higgs Bosons are real….. then humanity will be one step further away from answering the real questions….. good DLE for the world…. some may wake up from these contradictions ….. that is why they are there….. certainly the date was assigned for those to read “It’s and Aprils fools day joke by the gods”
